The U3-1530 / 630 is a traveling column 3-axis vertical machining center for high performance cutting with spindle speeds up to 12,000 rpm. This machine is perfect for stationary large and heavy workpieces with up to a 70.87 x 21.26 in / 4,409 lbs table to accommodate parts of many different sizes and materials. It is available with the most modern controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Siemens.

The traveling column design separates the machining environment from the axis drive and servo system so material such as plastic, graphite, etc. can be machined and contained without contaminating the machine. The U3-1530 / 630 can handle heavy workpieces and can be configured with automation for production applications.
